Estimation Jar Guess
Songi from Mrs. Chastonay's class had the closet guess in the candy corn guessing contest. There were 855 candy corn pieces in the glass pumpkin and she guessed 829. Way to go!!!
Fall Book Fair
Our Fall Book Fair will be begin on Monday, November 4th and end on Friday, November 8th. The Book Fair will be open each day from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Conference Room. Come eat lunch with your child and visit the Book Fair. We look forward to seeing you there! Happy Reading!
Visitng Illustrator Michael P. White
Michael P. White visited Auburn Early Education Center on Wednesday, October 9th. He is the illustrator for The Library Dragon, Return of the Library Dragon, and Harriet's Horrible Hair Day. Mr. White did three sessions, one for kindergarten, one for first grade, and one for second grade. He was extremely entertaining and the students loved him.
Illustrator Coming to AEEC!
Michael P. White, illustrator of the Library Dragon and The Library Dragon Returns, will be visiting AEEC on Wednesday, October 9th. Pre-order book forms are available for you to purchase some of his books at a reduced rate. Return the order form and payment to school.
QR Code Scavenger Hunt
Our 2nd grade classes did a scavenger hunt using QR Codes and a QR Code scanner on the iPads. They had several questions about the library that the codes helped them to answer.

A Completed Puzzle
One activity during our center time in Media is the puzzle center. Students in kindergarten through first grade have been working to complete the 500 piece puzzle of Jordan-Hare Stadium for a month. A second grader, Brandon Jackson, put the last piece of the puzzle in today!
